The KNIPEX StepCut® XL 95 12 225 are advanced cable cutters with an increased gear ratio, designed for efficient cutting of large-diameter cables. Thanks to their innovative, stepped cutting edge and long arms, they enable fast and effortless cutting—even where standard tools fall short.

Key features:

High cutting capacity: capable of cutting single-conductor cables up to 35 mm², multi-conductor cables up to 70 mm², and fine-strand cables up to 120 mm².

Stepped cutting edges: two working zones—the main edge keeps the cable close to the connector for maximum efficiency, while the front edge allows for gradual cutting of thick wires.

Increased leverage: a high-leverage screw-type connector provides high cutting force with less effort.

One- or two-handed operation: the ergonomic design and reduced arm width allow for comfortable use in a variety of conditions.

Slim head: facilitates access to hard-to-reach areas.

Safety in use: protection against finger pinching.

Durable blades: laser-hardened cutting edges (approx. 56 HRC) ensure a long service life.

Ergonomic handles: three-component Comfort handles ensure comfortable use and the option to extend them using the KNIPEXtend system.

Note: Not intended for use with steel-reinforced cables (e.g., ACSR).
