Hex key for TORX® screws with a hex socket and a locking pin
A profile designed for screws with a security system that prevents unauthorized removal of the screw. The screw socket features a security pin to prevent the use of tools with a standard TORX® profile. The pin retracts into the tip of TORX® BO-profile tools, allowing for Removing a screw with a safety mechanism. Screws with safety mechanisms are commonly found, for example, in electrical devices that may only be disassembled and repaired by qualified personnel.
The ball at the tip of the screwdriver allows the tool's axis to be angled relative to the screw's axis, making it possible to tighten and loosen screws at an angle.
It is impossible for the hex keys to fall out of the holder on their own. The material used by Wera is wear-resistant and ensures a durable and secure grip on the tool, even after prolonged use. A practical slider ensures easy opening of the fold-out holder, allowing for quick and secure removal tools.
